Real estate tech firms boost efficiency

Inside Real Estate has introduced automated compliance reviews to its BoldTrail BackOffice platform, aiming to streamline transaction operations for brokerages. The new feature, called ComplianceAI, was developed with SetWave and reviews transaction forms in real time, validating required fields and signatures, and flagging missing or inconsistent information.

ComplianceAI checks transaction files as they are submitted and cross-references the full transaction packet, displaying results in visual compliance reports that update automatically within BoldTrail BackOffice. This eliminates the need for a separate tool or login, according to the report.

Brokerages no longer have to choose between a powerful platform and compliance they can trust. Inside Real Estate CEO Joe Skousen said ComplianceAI brings compliance directly into the workflow customers already use, catching issues before closing instead of after.

Inside Real Estate also announced the upcoming launch of BackOffice MCP, which will provide AI assistants with a secure connection to brokerage transaction and back-office operations. After ComplianceAI, BackOffice MCP is the next step: a brokerage where an agent can open a transaction, prep the paperwork, and get it signed just by asking, all inside the system they already run on, Skousen said.

MoxiWorks has announced a partnership with Cloze to integrate its RISE relationship intelligence platform with Cloze, allowing brokerages using both systems to sync contacts and activity between the platforms and reduce duplicate data entry.

The partnership gives agents access to RISE campaigns, presentations, and automations for contacts synced from Cloze, while RISE activity is shared with the Cloze Intelligence Engine to maintain a complete view of relationships and activity. Agents’ Cloze contacts will now show up in RISE automatically, ready for campaigns, presentations, automations, and follow-up, said MoxiWorks‘ principal product manager of integrations, Krista Hannahs.

RealPage has launched its new Lumina AI Suite, a governed intelligence platform that connects property operations, portfolio analytics, institutional intelligence, and data access across real estate. The suite includes Lumina Workforce for AI agent execution, Lumina Ascent for operational intelligence, Lumina Atlas for institutional intelligence, and Lumina Connect for governed data access.

The Lumina AI Suite was developed in part using technology RealPage gained through its recent acquisition of Cherre. RealPage President and CEO Dirk Wakeham said the new suite delivers on the next stage of enterprise data. The Lumina AI Suite works from one consistent view of the data and one shared understanding of real estate, so the AI agent helping an operator fill a vacancy and the analysis guiding a fund’s next acquisition are reasoning from the same source of truth, all on an architecture designed to scale across every asset class, Wakeham said.

Zillow is expanding its advertising platform to Pinterest, allowing brands to target housing-related consumer segments using behavioral data from Zillow users. Through the partnership, Zillow will make audience data based on more than 200 housing-related signals available through Pinterest Media Network Connect, Pinterest’s ad platform, which enables companies to expand operations and reach new customers.

The move enables both companies to unlock advertising opportunities that extend well beyond either platform’s core experience.

Technology has played a significant role in improving efficiency and compliance in real estate operations. The introduction of automated compliance reviews and AI-powered workflows is likely to have a lasting impact on the industry, as companies continue to innovate and adapt to changing regulatory requirements.

The Lumina AI Suite is built on the Lumina Intelligence Layer, which functions as a central, connected database of more than 4 billion real estate entities, with rules in place to keep that data clean and consistent. It includes 4 main components: Lumina Workforce, Lumina Ascent, Lumina Atlas, and Lumina Connect.

As the real estate industry continues to evolve, companies will work together to improve efficiency and compliance. Technology is playing a major role in shaping the future of the industry, with companies like Coldwell Banker staying at the forefront of innovation, as seen in the decision to stay with the CEO who has been leading the company’s efforts to adapt to changing market conditions.

They will likely see more partnerships and integrations between companies, which will help to improve the overall efficiency of the industry, similar to how transport plans can improve the flow of goods and services.

Real estate companies are launching new products and services to help them stay competitive.
